Content Writing

A good web design begins with highly relevant content. Content is KING on the Internet as that is what people are seeking!

People use the Internet for a lot of things:

  • Research
  • Buying Products and Services
  • Locating Suppliers
  • Entertainment
  • Games and
  • Socializing - just to mention a few.

Stacking the odds in your favorSo a good web design that stacks everything in your favor needs to use all the available web design resources available. Each of these areas requires some degree of content to be written - to give people what they are seeking and have them coming back again and again.

 Whether it be:

  • Answers to the questions they seek,
  • Details about a product or service you offer,
  • A brief explanation of the video and/or audio they are going to view and/or listen to,
  • Or an explanation of the game they have chosen and how to play it.
  • And because humans are inherently nosey they want to see what their friends and family are doing - thus the explosion of "Social Networking".

But it must be good content that is accurate, concise and answers the users questions. Remember, on the Internet you are not "talking to" a potential customer like you would on the phone or face to face. So you have to answer the questions they have which means anticipating what those questions will be first!

Content writing is partially art and mostly understanding of the who, what, when, where and the how (the "wiifm") that all potential customers have. Another problem new content writers must learn is the art of formatting their content for the Internet which is different then you would use for a business letter or a book.

Content writing

You see on the Internet people are skimmers. Meaning they don't read every word they "skim" through the information looking for key phrases and information. If they see those then, AND ONLY THEN, will they go back and actually read your information (the content you provide).

That means using proper English, or whatever language you are writing in, but without the use of acronyms, etc. At least not in the beginning. You also have to write at the layman's level - unless your site is specifically for a group of professionals.

Well writen content also serves to prove to the prospect your company is the one they want to deal with. By providing the right information in an informative manner you PROVE to the customer you know what you are talking about. You are the "expert" on the subject at hand. People WANT to deal with the best, most knowlwedgeable companies who treat them fairly and that are fairly priced!

We can research and write your content for you on a contract basis or on an page by page basis - your choice. Our writers or all English speaking college graduates, with at least minors in English, and they understand the special formatting requirements needed for properly displaying content on the Internet.

You will own ALL the copyrights to the articles we write and they are NOT sold to other clients - ever. We NEVER reuse articles for others and we do NOT plagiarize articles or re-writes of information that maybe copyrighted elsewhere.

Thank you so much for your advice on building my web traffic. FYI I'd tried the Adword PPC but got burnt several times.

Thanks and Best regards,
